The "File as group" feature lets you save a set of tabs as a single bookmark. I love it. However, it's broken twice on me in the past two weeks, most recently with RC2. The bookmark works as expected for 7 days or so, but then I boot up Mozilla the 8th day and instead of a single bookmark, I find a bookmark folder with all the individual bookmarks in it. I'm running Mozilla RC2 on Red Hat 7.3. Bart
reporter, is your bookmark saved in the Personal Toolbar folder? this could be bug 134853 or bug 144238
Nope, this bookmark is not saved in my Personal Toolbar folder and I did not try to copy/paste the bookmark like 144238. I just make the bookmark and file it. Then it works for about a week and all of a sudden, it reverts to a folder of bookmarks. Bart
I have Mozilla v1.0 {Build ID: 2002053012} running on Win NT, and have the same problem. I can file(bookmark) my opened tabs as a group, buy they only work until the next time I launch Mozilla: the group transforms into a folder with its tabs as regular bookmarks... Agustín.
WFM with trunk 2002073022, linux. reporter (Bart Decrem): can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.1beta)? if so, please comment again with details. if not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
no answer.

I have Mozilla 1.2.1 (the About page says "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130") in Win98SE and am suffering from this bug. It seems random how long it takes for a bookmark group to break; though I don't remember seeing it break on the same day, I've had it break the next day, and other times I've had it last two or three weeks. The "lifetime" seems to be decreasing over time, though that could just be my increasing ire ;) If there was a way to open a bookmark folder as a group of tabs, that would probably solve the various annoying bugs with bookmark groups. I'm DLing Mozilla 1.3 now, I was hoping it would fix this bug...
