User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 Build ID: 20180323154952 Steps to reproduce: Launch Firefox from desktop, close out bookmarks sidebar with X or ctrl+B. This is open every time I launch Firefox on one of my computers, but not all three and all three are synced. Actual results: I have to close the Bookmarks sidebar manually with X Expected results: I open up Firefox and the bookmark sidebar is not open. I have three computers and 2 of them do not open the sidebar upon launching Firefox.
I can not reproduce this issue on my machine Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:61.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/61.0 could you try refreshing your profile and see if that helps. Steps can be found here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

If safe mode doesn't work, I suspect your xulstore file is corrupt, try looking into your profile, and rename it to xulstore.json.bak and let firefox generate a new one
