Same in FF61, and in my case username and password is empty after every relaunch.

I can reproduce. After I enter the username and password, they are not saved actually.

User/pass being not saved is something else. It is being saved fine in our case.

Here hte issue is "Firefox is asking us to press OK to continue" after each start.

Can someone get to this? This is going on 15 years. If you don't hit OK, nothing loads when you start the browser.

IE fixed this issue a decade ago.

Why is 1520453 duplicate of this?

Those issues are seperate. On that bug, credentials are NOT saved.

Here credentials are saved fine.

We have identified the cause and are working on a fix in bug 1611744.
