Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510
BuildID: 2002051009
I had an older Mozilla version - 0.9.4 - which came with SuSE 7.3 and is
installed by default /usr/X11R6/bin.
I wanted to overwrite the existing version with 1.0-RC2, so I choose "Delete"
when the installer asked (by now I know I should have read better :-/).
Anyway, all my X11 apps are gone now, and it means it's not possible to upgrade
an installation this way.
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install an older version in - let's say - /usr/bin
2.Try to upgrade to RC2
3.When prompted - choose "Delete"
4.Guess....
Actual Results: Mozilla works fine :-)
Expected Results: Okay, if I had read better it wouldn't have happened, but
perhaps it should be stated more clearly the *complete* directory will be erase.
