download manager 'remove from list' is very slow

Details
Removing from the download manager list is quite slow (almost a second for each
entry), especially if there are a lot of items in the list. This makes it
intolerable to select all and remove them (Mozilla becomes totally unresponsive.)

OS: Windows XP
The download manager is a great upcoming feature, I hope it can be as snappy as
3rd party apps!
