Mozilla 1.0 Release Candidate 2 

In the Mail interface, there is a Sidebar on the left, and under that a bar
labeled Bookmarks and under that Add... Manage. I clicked on Manage and saw two
sets of imported bookmarks from IE. I could not delete any individual bookmark
(I tried Del, Right-click Delete from menu, Edit | Delete and the Delete button
from the toolbar). None of them would delete.

I can delete what I want to delete.

reporter : have you made a clean install of mozilla ? Or do you overwrite a
previous one ?

Theme ? Have you downloaded 1.0rc3 ?

I have the same problem, I can move them but nothing else (they still work though)
I'm using build 2002062208
and theme Kzilla 1.1 from the Mozilla themes page

I've overwritten older versions of mozilla

I can confirm this behaviour.  Using the bookmark manager I cannot delete
bookmarks, either by pressing the delete key, the delete button or Edit->Delete.

A co-worker of mine just ran into this issue with Moz1.0-rc2 on MacOS X. 

This only affects some bookmarks. Some bookmarks have the full context "pop-up"
menu, some not.  The context menus for the ones he could not delete only showed
the Open, Open in New Window, and Copy commands.

These bookmarks were in the Personal Toolbar Folder.  He found that he could
delete the entire folder.

Same problem here, but on windows 2000, build 2002070408 : Some bookmarks refuse
to delete (from the manage wookmarks window), and some other ones who did accept
to dissapear, reappered when I closed and reoppened the "manage bookmarks" window.

dynamic IE bookmarks can not be edited. (btw dynamic import is no more supported)
