Details
symptoms:
- When I press Ctrl-N, Ctrl-1 through Ctrl-5 or select the respective menu
nothing happens.
- Starting the browser from the command line with the "-mail" option does not work.
- After quitting Mozilla the Mozilla process is still in the task list
(Alt-Ctrl-Del). I can not start any new Mozilla instance unless I kill the task.
I only see this on my Windows 98 box. Linux / Windows NT & 2k are okay.
The problem appeared first in RC 2 and is still in latest build 2002051708.
I guess this is a CRITICAL problem!

Do you have any builds other than Modern and Classic installed? If so, this is

This is a dupe.
Please uninstall all Third-party Themes and/or delete all files in profile/Chrome/

Yep, right. That did the trick.
However, it would be nicer if Mozilla detected this problem and removed the
files automatically.
