I tested this using the given steps,but could not manage to reproduce it.

The page was working  without add on and the nightly build 
Doing some further test with Firefox 59.x  I found the add on which is causing the problem:
DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials 2018.4.20

Do you need further information?

This is an issue with the extension, and should be filed there, provided it is still an issue.

In the meantime it is working with Debian Quantum 66.0.3 (64-Bit) and the extention
