So as soon as you scroll the treewidget, it's refcount gets outta whack and it
leaks the entire tree.

maybe unrelated .. but i'm seein the whole tree widget leak just in
startup/shutdown of apprunner. i didn't click on anything but the menu to exit.

do you know which one? there are three in the sidebar (related links, flash,
bookmarks).

no, sorry. didn't have time for much investigation. purify log at
http://www.cybersight.com/~bruce/apprunner.19990921.log might help?
