Since Rocket will integrated Firebase, we'll probably need a specific page for Firefox Rocket.

Target to ship in Firefox Rocket v2.1. The first public-facing date is open beta on May-11.

wesley and joe can you please send  joni and I a link to an explanation about Rocket's usage of firebase? or should we just get legal to help us write the specific Firefox Rocket SUMO KB article on Firebase?

vidyo with joe and the rest of the crew is always great :-) before that a 1 paragrpah tl;dr on why we are using Firebase in Rocket and how it affects users would be helpful context I think, pretty please :-) !

I may not be the best person to answer but let me try :)
Firebase is a powerful tool that supports us as an app provider to interact with end users. 
For example, it enables remote config and with that we can run A/B testing pretty easily. 
Crashlytics for dev to gain more insights into crash reports. Cloud messaging for us to send notifications to targeted groups, and so on. 
On the cons side, like many other analytic tools all these require data collection. So we are being very careful at this.

Firefox Rocket v2.1 will be OPEN BETA on May-11th, so let's target to have the article done before that.

Is the section finalized? Per the document in comment 7, there seems to be some unanswered questions. 
Let me know if you need me to help reaching out, or anything.

Last but not least, the open beta date is confirmed to be May-18. So let's target to have this section updated on May-17 (Pacific time, end of day).
