When running RC2 to view a NOCC/IMP based webmail page (the main mail summary page), the browser still misses mouseout events. This is visible because IMP will highlight the line that your cursor is over. Due to the missed events, the highlights aren't disappearing when the mouse is no longer over the line. Result is half (or more) of the lines being highlighted. Running the mouse over (and over) the lines eventually gets them all to be non-highlighted. This problem is 100% repeatable, and has been a problem since 0.9.9. The 0.9.8 code did not have this problem. I can set you up with a temporary account on my webmail system so you can see it for yourself. Also, if it's relevent, I am accessing via a 56k dialup. Also if it helps, the webmail system I use is SSL encrypted via a self signed cert. My webmail server is connected via 10BT to a dual OC-12 backbone.
This screen capture clearly shows the bug in action. Several lines have been highlighted and not cleared as the mouse passed over them. The blue (background) colored lines are the incorrectly highlighted lines.
You mention Nocc, is there an issue with Nocc too ?
As mentioned in original report, the problem began at moz 0.9.9. The problem does not show up in 0.9.8 and also does not show up in Netscape 4.78. Also, I have not changed versions of IMP or NOCC since I installed it about 9 months ago.
