In bug 1453591 we set the persistence timer to 1 minute. However, GeckoView subsessions might be much smaller in practice (seconds!). We should instrument and provide a better estimate for the persistence timer, so that we don't loose useful data. A simple approach might be to check the average subsession length on Fennec or focus.

Given the new GV Streaming Telemetry approach in bug 1566340 and the deprecation of non-Glean-SDK methods of data collection in mobile products, this work isn't going to happen.
