In bug 1409208 we are making an effort to allow the user to cleanup their private data when disconnecting from Sync. However, this process will still leave log files around which may contain personal data.

I propose that we delete all log files when Sync is reset, but allow a preference to override this behaviour (and that about:sync will default to setting this preference to help in debugging any signout issues)

Makes sense and the patch looks good.
