User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Build ID: 20180322140748 Steps to reproduce: Hello, I installed Firefox ESR 64 bit on Linux Mint as root with tar.gz-archive an in the past I received updates throug the Firefox-Buildin-Update-Service. But I get no update notification from the Version 52.7.3 to 52.7.4. This never happened before. Is this a mistake of the update server? Or is this update irrelevant? Thank You for an answer. Actual results: When a new version of Firefox ESR was released, I got it throug the Firefox-Buildin-Update-Service. Expected results: I should have get the actual update to the newest version of Firefox ESR 52.7.4.
Not a security bug that needs to stay hidden.

This update is indeed irrelevant on Linux. The only change that's in 52.7.4 is bug 1452619, which is a workaround for a Windows bug, so the update is only being pushed to Windows users. You're certainly free to install 52.7.4 manually, but there will be no changes from 52.7.3 for you. Thank you for filing this bug, though! We don't have a lot of users running Linux ESR and using our updater (as opposed to a package manager), so we need all the reports we can get.

Thank you very much for your answers. I'm glad it wasn't anymore than that. Best regards, Michael
