Steps to reproduce:

1. Mute tab
2. Close Firefox.
3. Re-start Firefox


Actual results:

Previously muted tabs are no longer muted


Expected results:

Previously muted tabs should remain muted (or, at least, there should be an option for this behaviour)

I see the muted status is kept while tabs restored from closed browser in Fx56.0.2 & 59.0.3 on Win10.

Let me be more precise, then. I'm running FF 60.0 under macOS X 10.13.5.

When the muted tab is the one reloaded upon start-up (in my case, since I have several tabs, if it's the one that displays when I quit), then the muted status is restored upon start-up.

When the muted tab is any other tab than the one reloaded upon start-up, then the muted status is lost.

So, only the muted/unmuted status of the current tab is kept, everything else is lost.

I see this.


STR:
1. Set "Restore previous session" when startup.
2. New tab and open any page, then press Ctrl+M to mute tab, repeat a few.
3. Restart Firefox, check the tabs status.
