145971 - Number are inserted instead of national chars

When I have set czech keyboard and want to write czech(national) chars to URL
bar,            
first two chars are written correctly, but other letters are write badly as numbers.
Build ID:2002051013 (RC2)
my OS: RH Linux 7.2

mozilla (for example, 1.1beta)? if so, please comment again with details. if
not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.

I have now Mozilla 1.1b (Build ID:2002072204) and this bug is still here.
But only one char are inserted correctly, other letters are britten badly as numbes.
Sorry, I forgot say, that I'm using WindowMaker.

This is OK in mozilla 1.2b.....
