[Affected versions]: - Firefox 60.0 (20180503143129) - Firefox 61.0b3 (20180507191226) - Firefox 62.0a1 (20180510100205) [Affected platforms]: - Windows 10 x64 - Mac OS X 10.13.3 - Ubuntu 14.04 LTS x64 [Steps to reproduce]: 1.Open the browser with a new profile. 2.Go to "about:preferences". 3.Check "Restore previous session". 4.Open multiple tabs. 5.Open a private tab. 6.Close the primary instance of the browser. [Expected results]: The browser is closed. [Actual results]: The "Confirm Close" warning is displayed. Notes: - This happens even if you drag a tab outside of the instance to create a new one, it is not limited to private windows. - Restarting the same profile shows the previously closed tabs restored despite the previously shown warning.
marius, does this also happen without setting 'Restore previous session' first? I'm not sure why this would be triggered by sessionstore, hence my question.

I do not understand the question. If setting 'Restore previous session' is not checked then the normal behavior is for the user to be warned that he is about to close an instance of the browser and when he will reopen the browser the tabs won't reopen automatically. The problem is that the message should not be present if the setting 'Restore previous session' is checked because the tabs won't be lost, they will be there when the browser instance is restarted.
