Steps to reproduce:

Go to https://tiscon-maps-stagecoachbus.s3.amazonaws.com/RouteMaps/East/NETWORK%20MAPS/CAMBRIDGE%20CITI%20MAP%20-%20FEB%2018-WEB.pdf


Actual results:

The map is displayed but not the bus routes.  However, if you save the page then the resulting pdf file does show the routes, so the problem relates just to the display.  The file generated by 'print to pdf', which reproduces the screen display, is attached.


Expected results:

Going to this page using Safari does display the routes, and Firefox should do the same.

I wonder if that's also the cause of the other problem I reported at about the same time, involving inadequate resolution of barcodes in online boarding passes?

I don't see any issue with Firefox 63 compared to Acrobat. Are you still having the issue and if so can you attach a screenshot?

It still looks the same with Firefox 61 as with the attachment firefox-map.pdf I posted originally, i.e. the coloured bus routes that should be clearly visible, and are visible with Safari or using Acrobat on the downloaded file, do not show, so there is no need for another screenshot.  I am using Firefox 61, which seems to be the latest available for the Mac -- have you tried using the Mac version?

What is not displayed? With v69 I can see (Arabic?) text, numbers and pictures OK. However, this version of Firefox is still not displaying the bus routes, just as per my original report. Should this not be fixed by now?

The bug is solved by Bug 1739229 - Update pdf.js to version 2.12.126 r=pdfjs-reviewers,marco. The bus routes are displayed in recent nightly.

It's not resolved on my MacBook. https://tiscon-maps-stagecoachbus.s3.amazonaws.com/RouteMaps/East/NETWORK%20MAPS/CAMBRIDGE%20CITI%20MAP%20-%20FEB%2018-WEB.pdf shows no bus routes, but Safari does show them. I've just updated to v.95, which Firefox says is up to date.

Brian, the bug is fixed only starting from Firefox 96 (currently in Beta). If you want to test, you can download Firefox Beta.
