Steps to reproduce:

1. Open https://pravins.fedorapeople.org/test.html in Firefox
2. Set encoding to Unicode if encoding issue. (View-> Text Encoding)
3. Inspect Element (Fonts -> Free Serif)
4. Same issue is appearing while viewing Devanagari content in Facebook and other sites as well


Actual results:

FreeSerif getting selected


Expected results:

System default font (Lohit Devanagari) should get rendered
Has STR: --- → yes
Component: Untriaged → Layout: Text
OS: Unspecified → Linux
Product: Firefox → Core
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64
This looks similar to bug 1433675. Can you confirm if it is a regression (did it work OK in older versions?), and if so, which version regressed the behavior?

Clear a needinfo that is pending on an inactive user.
