Hi All,
I just got an Opoen LDAP server running on Red Hat 7.2
(openldap-2.0.23-4.i386.rpm). I found numerous errors
trying to get ldapadd and ldapmodify to accept entries
from the Mozilla export. So here goes:
1) Mozilla's ldif export mis-spells "objectClass:" as "objectclass"
2) Mozilla's ldif export leaves off "objectClass: inetOrgPerson" needed
to get the "mail" xxx@yy.com" to work
3) only the computer gods know what schema they dug "modifytimestamp: ",
"xmozillausehtmlmail:", "xmozillauseconferenceserver:" out of. But
it is definately not included in the ldap schema's from OpenLDAP.
4) I am still trying to figure out what errors they stuck into
the "GroupOfName, members' lists (no such object). Hopefully,
if one of the developers goes through the same process I did,
he will discover it and correct it.
What a pain. My brain almost melted down! :-[
I appreciate all the work you guys put into this stuff! :-)

I'd love to see a standard schema LDAP export as well. The existing one isn't
useful for much right now, without scripts to convert it. Could someone give
some visibility into how it evolved, and help us understand what would have to
happen to fix it? Is it NS directory server specific or something?

This bugs depends on 116692 but I think that it is a Duplicate of one of the
many LDAP format bugs, perhaps 157926 ?
