This is supported by edge and about to be supported by chrome (https://medium.com/@kennethrohde/progressive-web-apps-coming-to-all-chrome-platforms-80e31272e2a8) so opening this to try and start a discussion and see if we can get this working in Firefox

Actually Chrome has done this several days before in chrome://flags
