[Version]: 62.0a1 [Build ID]: 20180523221148 [Affected platforms]: Ubuntu 16.04 x64 and x32 [Prerequisites]: Set pref gfx.downloadable_fonts.otl_validation = false [Steps]: 1. Launch Nightly 61.0a1 with a new profile 2. Open https://www.productiontype.com/fonts 3. Check the fonts visible on the page 4. Select the Print Preview option and check the fonts again [Expected result]: The fonts used on the Print Preview screen should match the fonts used on the web page. [Actual result]: On the Print Preview screen all the fonts are the same but not the same as on the webpage (see attachment).
I don't think this is related to variable fonts, it seems to be a general issue with the fonts at that site. (And I see the same kind of issue on macOS: it simply fails to use the expected fonts for the various samples.) Is this a regression, or does Print Preview for this site fail similarly in older Firefox versions?
OS: Linux → All
Hardware: x86_64 → All
Summary: Variable fonts: Print preview fonts doesn't match the actual fonts used on the webpage → Print preview fonts doesn't match the actual fonts used on the webpage
Indeed it seems to be a general issue as Print Preview for this site fails on an older version of Nightly (61.0a1 Build ID:20180326220108) and on Chrome also.
Severity: normal → S3
