User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0
Build ID: 20180516032417
Steps to reproduce:
My environment is Mac 10.13.4, with Aladin/gemalto Safe Net Authenticator Client (last) 10.1.x (PKCS11) and Mozilla Firefox 60 or 60 ESR.
PKCS11 module eToken loaded successfully in Firefox with /usr/local/lib/libeTPkcs11.dylib
I also recreate my firefox profile from scartch and I have the same issue (when I use PKCS11).
Actual results:
All websites with PKCS11 token auth works fine.
After a wile, and some website navigation my firefox browser "Not responding" and before not responding any website couldn't be reached because I have no networking access in firefox (within OS networks could be reached without any problems).
If I'll remove PKCS11 module of eToken from firefox "Security devices" and restart firefox, everithing works perfect in any conditions.
Expected results:
I'll expect to work fine after PKCS11 module loaded.
Older version of firefox prior to 60 work fine.
and
On my Ubuntu 18.04 linux box using the same setup, everything work fine.

I tested this on OSX 10.13.4 with esr 60.0.1 and an existing PCKS#11 module. But could not manage to reproduce the issue. Websites look responsive to me.
IS there a specific website that can reliably reproduce the issue? Could you please try to capture a profile when the issue arises? Information is available here - https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Performance/Reporting_a_Performance_Problem
Thanks

I reproduced again also with Nigthly build - 62.0a1 (2018-06-01) (64-bit)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open some few sites ...
2. Open Linkedin -> Sign in -> https://www.linkedin.com/feed/
Everything runs and no website could be accessed in other new tabs etc.
Firefox Nightly could be closed only with "Force quit" or kill
Please see attached stacks and profile analyzing.

Thanks for reporting.
Can you try with a new Nightly? Bug 1461731 has been fixed in Nightly for a couple days now and should resolve this issue as well.

Thanks for confirming. Closing this as duplicate of bug 1461731 then. The fix should roll out on all Firefox channels soon.
