Make sure following two config params are set to true:

dom.webcomponents.shadowdom.report_usage
dom.webcomponents.shadowdom.enabled

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Firefox Nightly
2. Open Browser Console
3. Visit https://santatracker.google.com/village.html
4. Click the hamburger button from the page (upper left corner beside Google Santa Tracker)
5. Click Press
6. Scroll on the site and wait until this message is displayed in the browser console: (https://imgur.com/AVuy4Jk) wait for about 
   15 or more seconds after it was displayed (note that the memory usage will gradually decrease)
7. Refresh

Leave the site idle on the Press page for about 1 minute and refresh it afterwards, repeat this several time if needed until the site crashes.
