User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0
Build ID: 20100101
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open firefox wayland build
2. position firefox window near right screen edge
3. open several tabs with long titles
4. position mouse on tab to show title in tooltip
Actual results:
The tooltip is being displayed south east of the mouse pointer position. As a result, it does overflow the screen edge and cannot be read.
Expected results:
A tooltip must not overflow the screen edge. It must be displayed somewhere else, in this case: south west of mouse pointer position.
Additional information:
This issue is tested with Fedora's wayland-enabled firefox builds, version firefox-60.0.1-5.fc28.x86_64.

Hi Christian,
I didn't manage to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 16.04 on latest Nightly (2018-06-06). Please see the attached screenshot for reference and tell me if this is also how you reproduce the issue.
Moreover, can you please retest it on the latest Nightly (2018-06-06) and report back the result? Consider using a clean Firefox profile as well as safe mode to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause.
Thank you.

I can still reproduce the issue with 62.0a1 (2018-06-12) (64-bit) in a GNOME/Wayland session. And yes, the screenshot looks like how I reproduce the issue.

This is a clean profile. There are no addons installed. Same in safe mode.
I'm using the nightly version from https://firefox-flatpak.mojefedora.cz/ which has a wayland backend enabled.

Hey Christian,
Thank you for retesting the issue as I suggested! I will set the issue to a component in order to involve the development team in reviewing it.
