This looks like a buggy driver from nVidia. All crashes have the adapter version field set to 24.21.13.9793 which corresponds to nVidia's 397.93 driver. It's nVidia's latest WHQL driver which might explain why the crash rate seems to be going up; users probably get updated to it and start running into this problem.
