While working on https://github.com/mozilla-releng/mozapkpublisher/issues/65, I realized there is no checksum uploaded anymore. On release we rely on the general SHA512SUMS, but this file doesn't exist on Nightly. This prevents mozapkpublisher to download nightly APKs, which is needed when problems like bug 1464034 occurs. Is this problem known, Mihai?

Really sorry for delays - busy RC releaseduty week. AFAIK, we never generated the SHA512SUMS for nightly. That's a release thing. As we move forward with shippable builds, we're likely to get that on the way, but at this point we don't have that for nightlies. Not sure what you mean by "checksdums not uploaded anymore". I don't think they ever was. At least not the general-aggregated-ones. Or you meant the regular per job/ones? I can investigate by Monday EOD more on this if needed.

I wasn't aware if this applied to Nightly or nor. > Not sure what you mean by "checksdums not uploaded anymore". I don't think > they ever was. At least not the general-aggregated-ones. You're right, the general-aggregated-ones have never been uploaded. > Or you meant the regular per job/ones? Yeah, the per job aren't anymore. Unless I'm mistaken, this means we don't have checksums to test downloads against.

We do have them, but they are under en-US: - https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/nightly/2018/07/2018-07-09-10-01-29-mozilla-central-android-api-16/en-US/fennec-63.0a1.en-US.android-arm.checksums - https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/nightly/latest-mozilla-central-android-api-16/en-US/fennec-63.0a1.en-US.android-arm.checksums Basically, even if it was under `multi` folder, the file would be identical as we're handling that part as a single job in beetmover.
I think comment 3 answers the main question here. Closing this now but feel free to reopen if I missed anything.
