1470119 - Please disable "Version 3" as possible version (at least in "Firefox Build System")

For some reasons, we have a bunch of bug with "Version 3" as Version.

Maybe it is because it is the last one in the list?

Would be nice to disable this version as it is probably not what people want to do.

Disabling it. It'd be useful to know what versions should be active in that product. 

My guess is that would currently be:

60 Branch
61 Branch
Other Branch
Trunk
unspecified

Should "Trunk" be 62 Branch?

And after merge day, that will be:

61 Branch
62 Branch
Other Branch
Trunk
unspecified

Actually, with the status flags, I even wonder if this field has any value...
The fact that we have some many "Version 3" without valid reasons is a good clue...

Am I wrong Emma?

This is part of a bigger discussion about metadata I'd like to have. 

What if we deprecated version in favor of status, and backfilled status in bugzilla so we were consistent?

I created bug 1471887 to keep track of this discussion.
I might be wrong but I don't think we should even care about the backfill. As you can see with the "Version: 3", this is often incorrect value...
