User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0
Build ID: 20180605171542
Steps to reproduce:
1. Bookmark a page.
2. Change the URL for that bookmark (e.g. change http:// to https://).
3. Start to type the URL in the Awesome Bar.
Actual results:
The bookmarked URL in the Awesome Bar results (including the bookmark star next to it) is still the old http version.
Note, I have told FF to "Forget this site" from the history, and tried to individually delete the search result (with no effect).
Expected results:
The bookmarked URL in the search results should be the new, updated URL.

Hi Darren,
I couldn't reproduce the issue with the following steps:
1. Add https://www.amazon.com to bookmarks
2. Modify the bookmark link to http://www.amazon.co.uk
3. Open a new tab and start typing 'amazon'
Actual result: the bookmarked URL(with the star) is the link from step 2, however I'm automatically redirected to https://www.amazon.co.uk(this is normal behavior)
I've tried also with other sites and modifications on bookmarks are successfully saved.
Please test if the issue is reproducible in safe mode, here is a link that can help you:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
If you still have the issue please create a new profile, you have the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager
and test the issue like that.
Thank you for your contribution!

Hi Gyula,
I can't reproduce this with Amazon as per your example either, but I actually think it's a different issue now. Even if I delete the bookmark in question completely it still shows as a bookmarked suggestion when I start typing into the search bar. It's definitely not a duplicate bookmark (I've searched) and I am in safe mode.
Thanks.
Darren.

Just updated to 61.0 and it seems to have cleared this issue, so marking as fixed. Thanks.
