[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Launch Firefox
2. Enable the search bar from about:preferences#search
3. Open 3-4 new tabs
5. Type in the search bar of the last tab multiple words (to overflow the width until the search suggestions become truncated)
6. Switch to the other tabs and click on the search bar to view the search suggestions for the same words

[Expected result]:
The search suggestions should be properly truncated in the search bar in all the opened tabs. 

[Actual result]:
The search suggestions are incorrectly truncated in the other tabs.
Can be also reproduced on Firefox Beta 61.0. and Firefox Release 60.0.2.
Interesting. I wonder how long it has been this way.

Hi, have tested it on Mac 10.14 and Windows 10 with FF Nightly 68.0a1 (2019-03-19), Beta 67.0b1 and Release 66 and this issue still occurs.

This issue is reproducible on macOS 10.14.5 using the latest Firefox Nightly 69.0a1.

This WFM on the latest nightly build 90.0a1.
