From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.0rc3) Gecko/20020523
BuildID: 2002052305
With tabbed browsing enabled, if you go to a link-heavy page (such as
www.maccentral.com or www.yahoo.com), if you open 17 background "tabs" the
scroll bars disappear! After the 17th tab, opening more background tabs shifts
the contents of the opened pages progressively to the right, with each
additional tab opened.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a link-heavy site such as www.maccentral.com
2. Open background tab pages for up to 17 links.
3. Watch the scroll bars disappear!
4. Open an 18th tab.
5. Watch as the contents of the web pages on each tab begins to shift right,
beginning from the 18th tab onwards.
Actual Results: Scroll bars disappear, web page contents shift right, covering
up content on the webpages.
Expected Results: Scroll bars should not disappear; web page contents should
not shift.

WFM OS X build 052305.
I opened ~20 tabs off the Bugzilla query page, and did not experience the
behavior you describe.
Writing this using the Mac OS X build of Mozilla ...
And no, this/these bug(s) do not occur with the OS X build. They do in the
Classic Mac OS build though.

WFM in the May 31 build under OS 9.1 (2002-05-31-10 1.0.0). Reporter, please try
with a newer build and new profile.
