From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc3) Gecko/20020523 BuildID: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc3) Gecko/20020523 I use the Amaya 6.1 editor from the W3C to write XHTML + MathML documents these days. However, the editor currently includes an <?xml-stylesheet ?> processing instruction for the MathML aspects of this. Said XSLT stylesheet forces Mozilla to not render the page at all. The guilty part is <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="http://www.w3.org/Math/Group/XSL/pmathml.xsl"?> Commenting out the PI lets Mozilla render the page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit the URL. Actual Results: Blank page. Expected Results: An XHTML + MathML page. When I opened the page in a new tab, initially the document title applied. Then the XSLT kicked in and wiped out the page. The same page, with the PI commented out, is at http://jslab.org/xns/docs/BigDecimal.xml As Amaya is a fairly well-known program for editing MathML, I recommend we look into adding this for Mozilla 1.0 Release Notes.
:) That stylesheet that Amaya references, and the commented-out text that says it's available, are HTTP 401. (Actually, the W3C server returns a text/html page for HTTP Error 401, Unauthorized) Which morphs this bug into bug 141608. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 141608 ***
