User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:61.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/61.0 Build ID: 20180621125625 Steps to reproduce: Use the search bar (Google)to search for anything, Basketball, McDonald's, Penguins whatever and hit enter. This will take you to the google search results for whatever you searched for, now click on any link. Now that you are on that link's website now try to hit the back button. Actual results: The back button is unclickable and so I can't go back to the google search results. Expected results: The back button is clickable and I can go back to the google search results. This issue started immediately after installing Firefox 61.

Hi, I was not able to replicate this issue either using Windows 10 Pro(64-bit): Firefox 61.0 (2018-06-21)(64-bit) Firefox Beta 62.0b3 (2018-06-25)(64-bit) Firefox Nightly 63.0a1 (2018-06-28)(64-bit) In addition to comment 1, could you please check if anything shows up in the browser console(ctrl+shift+j)when you click on "back"? Also check if you have tracking protection:on (about:preferences#privacy) and if so, try it with tp:off as well. Thank you

I figured out what the issue was, the day before I updated to Firefox 61 I had installed the addon 'Google Container' and it is that addon which is causing the back button issue. That said the back button problem did not occur under Firefox 60, but under Firefox 61. I had been using Firefox for about a day with the Google Container addon and with any issue, it was only after updating to FireFox 61 that I noticed any problems. But I guess that is Google Container's issue, not Firefox's.

It still could be the fault of Firefox. It is hard to know without knowing whether it is a change in the addon (maybe it updated after the release of 61) or in Firefox itself.
