Currently, the preview of the "What's related" tab (Customize sidebar dialog) seems to just show an empty tab. This should really do something to show users what it means, as I don't think it's totally self explanatory. Maybe it could just contain a textual description of the tab? If it could do this whenever it had nothing to do (ie. no page to find related links for) such as when you start the browser, it would solve two problems at once.
trunk 2002052508 XP: Confirming. The preview shows a sidebar tab with nothing in in, just white.

The point of the What's Related panel is that it shows you pages related to the page currently loaded in the browser. Now its way of observing the browser is somewhat out of date as it doesn't work correctly with the tabbed browser. However in particular if there is nothing loaded in the browser, or, as here, no browser, then the panel doesn't know what to do and simply stays blank.

I haven't actually used the suite since about 1.4 or so, but this sounds the same as always, which was why I reported it. The point of the bug is that this sidebar tab shouldn't be blank, and in particular shouldn't be blank in the preview window.
