Details

1. Browsing to the URL mentioned causes Mozilla to crash immediately http://www.icrontic.com/index.php?page=public/hardware&hardwareId=364 2. the standard Windows' crash dialog appears, but a "zombie" Mozilla window still hangs in the background, even after "End now"-button is pressed. 3. Windows' Process Manager accessible by Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't list Mozilla among running processes 4. Process Viewer Application (a tool from VC++) shows a Mozilla Process (with 1 thread only), but it's impossible to kill this process - PVA freezes for 2-3 seconds, then comes back to life, but the Mozilla process is still there. 5. It's impossible to start Mozilla again, or any other "heavy" application, like Netscape Communicator 4.79 or Word or whatever. 6. Windows refuses to operate properly and crashes itself ocassionally Version : Mozilla 1.0 RC3 build 2002052306 , W32 talkback enabled full installer Windows : Windows 98 SE German PC : Athlon 1200,ABIT KT7A,256 RAM,>2GB for swap awailable Reproductible : always, also right after fresh reboot Expected Behaiviour : at least a simple crash which wouldn't trash the whole system at once, Netscape 4.79 shows the page correctly
