STR:
 1. Be using Firefox Nightly, with the UA spoofing for Google Tier1 experience (i.e. the default Nightly configuration right now) as described at https://miketaylr.com/posts/2018/07/google-search-in-firefox-for-android-nightly.html

 2. Visit https://www.google.com

 3. Tap Google's hamburger button in upper left.
     --> sidemenu appears
 4. Tap blank space to dismiss side menu.
 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 several times.

ACTUAL RESULTS:
Many of my taps on the hamburger button end up triggering a tiny selection of some sort (the blue selection pins appear, and a Firefox context-menu appears showing "Select All" as the only option -- and if I choose that, then the whole sidebar's contents becomes selected)

EXPECTED RESULTS:
No such unexpected selection / context menu.

I'm using Nightly 2018-07-03 on a Pixel 2 phone.

The screencast ( https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8989588 ) shows me tapping the hamburger button 4 times.

The first and last time, it triggers the selection thumbs & "select all" menupopup for me.

I can trigger this on Desktop, too, with responsive design mode and "Google Nexus 4" as my chosen device.

(There's no popup "Select All" menu on desktop, but the selection thumbs do appear.)

This is bug 1286882. Their hamburger menu has an SVG that you are tapping on. Despite it having no text to select, the selection interface still comes up (unless -moz-user-select:none is added to it).
