Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 11_4 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/11.0 Mobile/15E148 Safari/604.1
Steps to reproduce:
Have a buch of tabs open, swipe accidentally, closing one or two tabs. Go to recently closed tabs to see if they are listed there
Actual results:
They were not listed in recently closed tabs
Expected results:
They should have been listed in recently closed tabs, and ideally swiping to close tabs is able to be disabled.

Thanks for reporting.
This happens if your tabs are killed by iOS and the user close them. This does not happen for tabs that were loaded and closed. In chrome, even after the tabs are killed by iOS and closed by the user, they still show up under 'Recent tabs'.

Hmmm. I think when this has happened, there was no crashing, if that is what you mean by killed by iOS?

After a while of inactivity sometimes iOS will close the app and the tabs with it. This was the case which I described as "iOS kills your tabs". If you tap on a tab after a while of inactivity in the app, it gets reloaded. If the reload does not happen and you simply close that tab from tabs tray, then it won't get saved in 'Recent tabs', the case I assume happened to you. If the page is loaded or reloaded and closed then it gets saved in 'Recent tabs.
