Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a pdf in Firefox for iOS namely https://www.ucl.ac.uk/~ucfamus/papers/icwsm18.pdf  
2. Use the share functionality from the url bar breadcrumbs
3. Select a messenger app (I used Telegram and Slack) to share the pdf.



Actual results:

A file url ("file:///private/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/5746FD85-9747-4707-991A-42407F4A4ABA/tmp/TempDocs/icwsm18.pdf") is sent as a message via the selected messenger.

The recipient is clearly unable to view the file, as it is neither a online reference, nor has she or he downloaded the pdf file.


Expected results:

Either the file or (more intuitively) the online file url as a link shoudl be shared.

I was unable to reproduce this issue. I tried sending the exact pdf file via Telegram to another iPhone and when the file is received it it could be download. I didn't receive the "file:///private/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/5746FD85-9747-4707-991A-42407F4A4ABA/tmp/TempDocs/icwsm18.pdf".

What version of the app are you using? In the latest App Store build (v12.1), this is not reproducible.

I am using Firefox for iOS v12.1 (10941) on a IPhone SE with iOS v11.4 (15F79). I just reproduced the problem with Telegram for iOS v.4.8.4 (screenshots attached).

There was a missing step in reproducing this. Here are the STR:

1. Go to https://www.ucl.ac.uk/~ucfamus/papers/icwsm18.pdf
2. Open the Share menu
3. Tap Create PDF and save the PDF to file
4. Use the share functionality from the url bar breadcrumbs
5. Select a messenger app (I used Telegram and Slack) to share the pdf.

Results:
- A file url ("file:///private/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/5746FD85-9747-4707-991A-42407F4A4ABA/tmp/TempDocs/icwsm18.pdf") is sent as a message via the selected messenger.

Note:
- Even after deleting the pdf file the url ("file:///private/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/5746FD85-9747-4707-991A-42407F4A4ABA/tmp/TempDocs/icwsm18.pdf") will be sent.
