Bug 1475260 aims to update the Widevine CDM pulled by nightly (63) to 1.4.9.1088. Following the resolution of that bug we should also update the fallback downloader to do the same.

Attaching script used to update widevinecdm.json so my working can be reviewed and for posterity. Note the script is for Python 3.
