Steps that caused this:
1. Open the browser console.
2. Forget it in the background.
3. Put the macbook to sleep for a week-end away from work.
4. Open the macbook, notice that Firefox is unresponsive.

No, it's a regular nightly (July 6th OS X nightly). There were about 150 tabs.
