I would like to request message filters for local folders similar to the ones
available for the pop accounts

We currently only operate filters for Incoming messages.  Since Local Folders
has no method for incoming messages (no inbox), we couldn't apply them to Local
Folders.

However we have an existing and popular request for the ability to filter
manually on existing messages ("after the fact").  Marking this a duplicate of
bug 11033.
