today there are reports of geolocation no longer working in firefox: https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/900k6u/firefox_cant_find_my_current_location/
this is reproducible when visiting https://html5demos.com/geo/ which results in "failed".
the browser console shows the following error among others:
"Google Maps JavaScript API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys"
