This renders black boxes instead of figurines on a Google Pixel 2 XL, both in release and current Nightly.
It renders correctly in Chrome (on any device), and on Nightly on a NVIDIA Shield K1 (32-bit Android).

Core::Layout::Text issue. Maybe we are not loading the Noto Color Emoji font?
