After installing Mozilla RC3. It hangs on the splash screen whenever I try to start it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install Mozilla RC3 2.Try to run Mozilla Actual Results: Splash screen shows forever with zero CPU until you kill mozilla.exe in the task manager Expected Results: mozilla runs I installed over Mozilla 1.0 rc1
Reporter: Remove any existing Mozilla installation before trying to install a new version. If you continue to have issues, create a new profile. (Mozilla.exe -Profilemanager )
reporter, did you do a clean install and created a new profile as adviced by WD ?
Works for me - just wanted to ensure that this issue is not encountered in the 1.0 to 1.1 upgrade.
