In order to get an idea of how prevalent these archive formats are in the files that our users download, we should add two new probes:

- categorical probe: dmg, rar, zip, other executable
- boolean probe: IsBinaryFile() or not

I'd say Category 2 because the number and types of downloads are user interaction.

    Is the data collection request for default-on or default-off?

Default on.

    Does the instrumentation include the addition of any new identifiers (whether anonymous or otherwise; e.g., username, random IDs, etc. See the appendix for more details)?

Only categories of filetypes, so no.

    Is the data collection covered by the existing Firefox privacy notice? 

Yes.

    Does there need to be a check-in in the future to determine whether to renew the data?

No.
