Imagine you have two email accounts. When the first gets new emails then the
small icon (on the left of the account name) changes from the letter icon to an
icon with a green top-down arrow. However, this green arrow stays there even if
you have a filter present that moves *all* new mail to the other account! So you
think you've got new email in that first account but there is no new mail
(because it is already moved to the other account due to the filter).

I experienced this bug with email accounts that were *not* expanded (so I could
not see the folders of that accounts). I am not sure if you'll have the same
behaviour with expanded email accounts.
