1483050 - Add snippets targeting for type of devices synced

Once we're able to target based on number of devices synced (Bug 1483046), we'd also like to be able to target snippet users based on the types of devices they have synced - i.e. two desktop devices, but no mobile devices - so we can cross-sell mobile, for instance.

Again, we don't believe this information is in the current configuration already - so can we pull this data from FxA into the browser, to be able to expose for targeting?

Kate, please let us know what else you may need on this request -  we'd love to be able to get this with the 63 release as well. Thank you!

Is whether the device is desktop/mobile enough for you or do you need more than that?

Just knowing Desktop or Mobile is great.

As an example, we'd like to be able to serve snippets to people who have one or more desktop devices synced but don't have a mobile device synced to encourage them to download Firefox (or Focus or Rocket, etc.) and then Sync it to get the most from their FxA.

So I envision targeting on our end being something like: target only users who "have Sync enabled" (which we already have; this is how we currently target people with an FxA or not) - and then drilling down farther by adding targeting for users who have "at least 1 device synced" but "where Mobile = False" (i.e. all of these users only have desktop devices synced, regardless of how many). Hope that helps!
