User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0 Build ID: 20180816100035 Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable web renderer. 2. Go to https://nodividestudio.com/ 3. Scroll around. Actual results: It's kinda slow and "lags" a bit. (maybe related to clipping) Expected results: Good performance.

It seems similar to Bug 1483610 from Bug 1483610 Comment 5 and Bug 1483610 Comment 9.
Especially around the dark star background at https://nodividestudio.com/, yes.

clip handling seemed be improved by https://github.com/servo/webrender/pull/2980 https://github.com/servo/webrender/pull/2986 (not yet merged to m-c)

BTW sites listed in https://dev.to/abdelrahman3d/css-abuse-31gp are really great sites to test performance of the web renderer, which is still quite poor in Firefox Nightly.

The website is gone and there is nothing actionable in the comments bug (no profiles, etc.). Let's close this and open new bug when we find pages with similar performance issues we can investigate.
