User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:61.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/61.0
Build ID: 20180807170231

Steps to reproduce:

Open the settings, go to Privacy & Security, Manage website data.

I got a list of many websites (the list appeared after several seconds) and picked the ones with the most stored data, then applied. I had to confirm the deletions.

After deleting just one item, the size of used data reduced and that item disappeared from the list next time. After selecting many items for deletion (from 5 to 50), strange things started to happen.

Actual results:

At first, nothing was deleted at all. (50 selected sites)

Then, the both(!) dialog buttons for deleting all data and managing sites' data wouldn't open anything anymore. Just a slight shadow visible where the dialog belongs.

Closed settings and re-opened. Now I deleted one site, all fine. Selected a handful more and nothing was deleted again. Now, after pressing the button again, the dialog looks like this (see attachment), totally broken. Need to restart Firefox and try again.

Expected results:

What it says on the tin. A predictable and functional UI would be nice.
PS: Just for clarification, "broken" means data is missing *completely* (the list of websites should be very long) and one button isn't labelled anymore. But the button mouse hover effects are still there.
PPS: It's reproducible, even after restarting Firefox. Deleting one site is good, deleting multiple sites causes all issues to appear.

Huh, I can't reproduce this and I have no idea how your profile got into a state where this is possible. Since you can reproduce this, can you please open the browser console (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Browser_Console) or the browser toolbox (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Browser_Toolbox) and share what was logged there when you opened about:preferences?

Thank you!

It's been 17 days since johannh requested a needinfo from the reporter, and we haven't yet heard back - the reporter was last heard from about a month ago.

I'm going to close this one as INCOMPLETE. Reporter, please re-open if you're still experiencing this, and have a moment to try what johannh suggested in comment 3.
