User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:61.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/61.0
Build ID: 20180704194937
Steps to reproduce:
- Define a keyword for a search engine (e.g. d for DuckDuckGo)
- enter www.[KEYWORD] in the awesome bar (e.g. www.d)
It seems to work with any keyword, but only with www.[KEYWORD] .
Actual results:
firefox loads the search page of the given search engine with the 3 last letters of www.[KEYWORD] (e.g. duckduckgo.com/?q=w.d )
Expected results:
Probably not that.
It may try to resolve the url, or do a normal search on the full text with the current search engine.

Reproducible in the latest release, but not beta. mozregression-gui reveals this was fixed by bug 1239708.
